About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a dedicated and reliable Store Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the store. If you have a passion for creating a tidy and welcoming environment and enjoy working in a retail setting, this opportunity is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all areas of the store, including the shop floor, stockroom, dispensary, admin office, and canteen, are clean and well-maintained.
- Develop and follow daily cleaning routines for consistent upkeep.
- Keep restrooms and canteen areas stocked and spotless.
- Be available during store hours to address cleaning needs promptly.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products efficiently and safely.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers when required.
- Follow Health and Safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Experience: At least 6 months of cleaning experience.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual abilities.
- Previous cleaning experience in a retail environment.
