Location: Limpopo (TVET Campuses)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualification: Recognized 3-year National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in:

    • Building Management

    • Safety Management

    • Construction Management

    • Environmental Health

    • Or a related field

  • Experience: 2–3 years in:

    • Facilities Management

    • SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality)

    • OHS (Occupational Health and Safety)

  • Certificates (Advantageous):

    • Fire Marshal Certificate

    • First Aid Certificate

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Computer Literacy Certificate or computer as a subject

    • Valid Driver’s License


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Public Service Act & Regulations

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act 85 of 1993)

  • COIDA (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act)

  • Facilities and Asset Management Systems

  • Incident reporting procedures

  • Telephone and fire control systems


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support coordination, implementation, and monitoring of SHERQ compliance

  • Facilitate the establishment and functioning of the OHS committee

  • Coordinate and promote OHS training and awareness programmes

  • Participate in hazard and risk identification, and assist in implementing corrective actions

  • Implement and maintain SHERQ Management Systems at the campus level
