Purpose of the Role
The main purpose of this position is to generate income and maximize profitability by providing excellent customer service, promoting products, and meeting sales targets. You will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience, building lasting relationships with customers, and contributing to the overall growth of the store and brand.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to:

Generate sales through active engagement with customers, identifying their needs, and offering appropriate product recommendations.

Achieve sales targets and income goals as set by management.

Deliver superior customer service by ensuring every customer feels valued and assisted professionally.

Promote and demonstrate products, showcasing features and benefits to encourage purchase decisions.

Merchandise products effectively to attract customers and ensure the store is always neat, appealing, and well-organized.

Process cash and credit transactions in line with company policies and administrative procedures.

Assist in maintaining stock levels and reporting on product shortages or customer demands.

Provide after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving queries quickly and effectively.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet collective sales goals and maintain a positive, motivated store culture.

Stay up to date with new technology trends, product releases, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 (Matric) qualification – essential.

7 to 12 months of sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.

A passion for technology, electronics, and customer service.

Basic computer literacy and knowledge of point-of-sale systems.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Reliable transport and the ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
