Duties and Responsibilities

As a Household Aid, the candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the hospital environment is clean, safe, and conducive to patient care. Key responsibilities include:

1. Hygiene and Domestic Services:

  • Perform effective cleaning and hygiene tasks in various hospital environments.
  • Ensure that all areas, including wards, hallways, and offices, meet cleanliness standards required for a healthcare facility.
  • Use appropriate cleaning agents and methods to maintain sanitary conditions.

2. Supporting the Household Supervisor:

  • Assist the Household Supervisor with daily cleaning schedules and logistics.
  • Follow specific instructions for cleaning and maintaining hospital premises.
  • Provide feedback on cleaning operations and report any issues or supply shortages to the supervisor.

3. Managing Domestic Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall management and execution of domestic tasks.
  • Ensure that laundry, waste disposal, and other essential activities are carried out efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to address housekeeping needs promptly.

4. Equipment Utilization:

  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of cleaning apparatus and equipment.
  • Identify any equipment malfunctions and report them for repair or replacement.
  • Keep inventory records for cleaning supplies and recommend restocking when necessary.

5. Adherence to Ethical Standards:

  • Uphold professional and ethical behavior in all duties.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality when performing tasks near hospital wards or sensitive areas.
  • Demonstrate reliability, loyalty, and a strong work ethic.
