GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Across All Roles)
Customer Service

Greet customers using the standard greeting protocol

Assist customers with product locations, features, and benefits

Respond to queries politely and professionally

Handle customer complaints and escalate when necessary

Maintain a helpful, customer-focused attitude
Store Operations
-
Stock shelves according to standard procedures

Ensure products are correctly displayed and rotated

Check quality, expiry dates, and remove damaged/expired items

Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and stock loss
-
Check temperatures and maintain cold chain (where applicable)

Ensure correct pricing and labels
Hygiene & Safety

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised store environment

Follow housekeeping standards in all departments

Adhere to security procedures

Operate and clean equipment according to policies

Follow food safety and hygiene standards across all sections
Teamwork & Communication

Follow clear communication protocols with customers, colleagues, and management

Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
