As a well-established organisation in the cleaning and maintenance industry, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and consistently maintaining high standards. We currently have several vacancies available at the following sites: Park Rynie Recon Centre, Hillcrest, Port Shepstone, Waterfall, Empangeni, Shelly Beach, Ottery, Kuilsriver, and Cape Town Tyger Valley. These roles include general cleaners, workshop cleaners, gardeners, driver cleaners, and a supervisor/team leader position.

Key Responsibilities
General and Workshop Cleaners
Cleaners are expected to uphold the high cleaning standards established by Fairies Cleaning Services. They must take responsibility for the cleanliness and upkeep of their designated areas. Duties include:

Operating, caring for, and maintaining cleaning equipment responsibly.

Reporting any damaged tools or equipment to the supervisor immediately.

Handling requests, queries, and complaints professionally and politely.

Monitoring stock levels of cleaning supplies and ensuring timely replenishment.

Following all site-specific rules, company health and safety standards, and client regulations.

Working efficiently, smartly, and independently without constant supervision.

Ensuring that all cleaning duties are completed within designated timeframes.
Driver Cleaners
Driver cleaners must perform all cleaning duties while also being responsible for transporting cleaning materials or team members when required. A valid driver’s licence is essential for this role. Candidates must demonstrate responsible driving habits and the ability to manage cleaning tasks effectively.
Gardener – Hillcrest
The gardener will be responsible for maintaining outdoor areas, including trimming, watering, sweeping, and general garden upkeep. Physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions are essential.
Supervisor / Team Leader
The Supervisor/Team Leader position at Tyger Valley requires a responsible and organised individual who can ensure the smooth operation of the cleaning team. Responsibilities include:

Maintaining high cleaning standards across the site.

Ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed consistently.

Communicating with various department managers to ensure all tasks and deadlines are met 100% on time.

Supervising staff, conducting checks, and ensuring adherence to company protocols.

Supporting team members and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
Qualifications and Experience
A Grade 12/Matric certificate is required for all positions. Driver roles require a valid driver’s licence. Candidates must have previous experience as a cleaner or in a similar field. They should demonstrate the ability to work independently while maintaining the high standards expected by Fairies Cleaning Services. Strong time-management skills, customer-friendliness, and basic English communication skills are essential.
