Job Overview
PEP Stores is looking for energetic and customer-focused individuals to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and driving sales in a fast-paced retail environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) – advantageous
- Age 18 – 35 years (for YES/Entry Level positions)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work retail hours (including weekends & public holidays)
- Good communication skills (English + local language)
- Honest and trustworthy
- No criminal record
Advantageous:
- Previous retail or sales experience
- Cashier experience
- PEP / Retail experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Process sales and cash/card transactions accurately
- Maintain high store standards (folding, merchandising, cleanliness)
- Replenish stock on the sales floor
- Handle customer queries and returns
- Work as part of a team to achieve store targets
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
