Role Overview
Studio 88, one of South Africa’s leading urban fashion retailers, is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join its Limpopo branch in 2025. This role is perfect for someone passionate about clothing, footwear, and delivering a great shopping experience. As part of the store’s front-line team, you will be responsible for assisting customers, keeping the store organised, and ensuring every visitor leaves with a smile.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve helping shoppers find the right products, processing purchases through the point-of-sale system, maintaining attractive displays, and keeping stock levels in check. You’ll also be expected to contribute to the store’s sales targets and support your colleagues in creating a professional, welcoming atmosphere.
Minimum Requirements

Education: A Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.

Experience: 1–2 years in a retail or sales environment, preferably in fashion clothing or footwear. Prior experience meeting or exceeding sales targets will be an advantage.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, handling cash, and basic inventory management.
Core Responsibilities

Provide high-quality customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection.

Drive sales by recommending products, upselling complementary items, and promoting special offers.

Keep the store clean, well-organised, and visually appealing according to Studio 88’s merchandising guidelines.

Assist in stock control by unpacking deliveries, organising storerooms, and conducting stock counts.

Operate the till efficiently, process transactions accurately, and handle returns or exchanges professionally.

Report any stock shortages, damages, or customer concerns to the Store Manager.
