Key Responsibilities

As part of your daily role, you will:

Arrive on time, ready to work, and complete your shift as scheduled.
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure fast, friendly service.
Prepare and cook McDonald’s menu items according to company standards.
Manage multiple orders while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Check that all food orders are correctly packaged and presented before serving.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant and kitchen areas.
Follow McDonald’s strict food safety, security, and cleanliness policies.
Work as part of a team to achieve store targets and maintain smooth operations.
Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or issues to your supervisor.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly and safely.
Display professionalism when dealing with customers, colleagues, and management.
Handle customer complaints calmly, courteously, and effectively.
Uphold McDonald’s image and reputation through excellent customer care.
Be adaptable to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) – essential.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Reside within 15km of Mooifontein, Gauteng.
Possess a clear criminal record.
Basic reading, writing, and instruction-following skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team.
Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning or lifting tasks.

Preferred Attributes

While not compulsory, the following will be advantageous:

Prior experience as a Crew Member, Team Member, or Customer Service Assistant.
Previous experience in a fast-food or retail environment.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, or ovens.
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Candidates aged between 18 and 65 years old.
