Overview of the Role
As a Driver at Halfway Go, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are collected, delivered, and maintained in excellent condition. This role is not just about driving — it is also about representing the Halfway brand and delivering exceptional service to customers and colleagues. The driver will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth vehicle operations and enhancing the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties as a Driver – Halfway Go will include the following:

Customer Service and Driving:

Provide safe, professional, and courteous driving services for clients.

Drive clients to various destinations when required, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

Vehicle Collection and Delivery:

Pick up and drop off vehicles at designated locations as scheduled.

Ensure all vehicles are delivered on time and in good condition.

Vehicle Maintenance and Care:

Conduct basic vehicle inspections before and after trips.

Report any damage, irregularities, or service needs to management immediately.

Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and roadworthy.

Operational Support:

Assist with the coordination of vehicles within the hire division.

Support other team members by performing related duties when necessary.

Adhere strictly to road safety laws, traffic regulations, and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric is ideal.

Driver’s Licence: Code 10 driver’s licence is essential.
Experience Requirements

At least 2 to 3 years of driving experience in a similar role.

Previous experience in the automotive, logistics, or vehicle hire industry will be advantageous.

A proven record of safe, professional, and punctual driving services.
