About the Role
Position/Task Grade: YY1 X9
Department: Investigation and Security
Business Unit: Investigation and Security
Location: Megawatt Park, Gauteng
The selected candidates will be placed within Eskom’s Investigation and Security division. During the internship, participants will assist with administrative and support tasks that contribute to Eskom’s operational efficiency. This includes data management, record keeping, reporting, and other general office support functions.
Participants will work under the supervision of experienced mentors and team leaders, gaining exposure to the company’s internal processes, policies, and systems. The goal is to provide participants with a hands-on understanding of the energy sector while developing professional workplace skills such as communication, problem-solving, time management, and teamwork.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this YES Internship opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be a South African citizen

Must be aged between 18 and 34 years

Must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

A post-matric qualification or short course will be an advantage
-
Must not be studying full-time during the year of employment

Must not have been permanently employed by one employer for more than one year
-
Must not have participated in the YES initiative previously
