Position Overview
Clicks Group is looking for 3 energetic and customer-focused Shop Assistants / Cashiers to join the team at Clicks Daspoort. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service at the point of sale, handling transactions accurately, and contributing to a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Job Objectives
- Efficiently process sales transactions at the Point of Sale (POS)
- Scan merchandise accurately and handle payments (cash, card & ClubCard)
- Promote and enroll customers in the Clicks ClubCard programme
- Inform customers about current promotions
- Maintain high standards of store housekeeping and merchandising
- Act as a brand ambassador by providing friendly and professional service
- Ensure safe handling of cash at all times
- Keep up-to-date with products, promotions, and store events
Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Grade 12 (Essential)
- Maths and English at 50% or higher (Advantageous)
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role in retail/FMCG is advantageous (not compulsory)

- Basic maths calculations and numeracy skills
