The learnership is offered within the People and Culture (Human Resources) function and is aimed at developing participants’ administrative, organisational, and workplace skills while completing a nationally recognised qualification.

Programme Overview

The successful candidates will be enrolled in an NQF Level 3 Business Administration Learnership Programme, which is a structured, integrated learning programme combining theoretical training with practical, on-the-job work experience. The duration of the learnership is 12 months, during which learners will gain valuable exposure to Human Resources operations within a large corporate environment.

Participants will receive a monthly stipend, offered in line with SETA requirements. This learnership is bonded, and candidates must be willing to commit fully to the programme and attend all required training sessions and workplace activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Learners will be required to:

  • Successfully complete the NQF Level 3 Business Administration Learnership

  • Provide administrative support within the HR department throughout the year

  • Assist during peak business periods and when team members are on leave

  • Support day-to-day HR activities, including documentation, filing, and record-keeping

  • Participate in both classroom-based learning and structured workplace experience

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and workplace standards

Skills, Experience and Competencies

Applicants must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Proficiency in English and at least one other South African language

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability

  • Ability to work in a pressurised and flexible working environment

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and willing to learn

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Candidates must have at least one (1) year of work experience, although this may include informal or entry-level exposure.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (minimum 40% pass)

  • Two South African languages passed at 40% or higher

  • Must be a South African citizen

  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate with a disability

  • Must be unemployed at the time of appointment

  • Must be between 18 and 35 years of age

  • Must not have previously completed the same NQF Level 3 Business Administration Learnership at another organisation

  • Must not be enrolled in any formal full-time studies

  • Must have no criminal record or negative credit record

  • Must be based in or near Bloemfontein, or be willing to travel
